AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd – under AEON Co., Ltd, a leading retail group in Japan, officially established in 2011. Believing in the potential and growth of the Vietnamese people, AEON made an early commitment to the market. Beginning with the opening of its first store in 2014, AEON has now expanded its operations to nearly 100 stores under AEON Vietnam and a total of nearly 300 stores across the group. AEON firmly believes in the vast potential of the Vietnamese market and has positioned Vietnam as a top priority region, driving group-wide initiatives to foster growth. By 2030, the company aims to expand its business scale in Vietnam by more than three times. AEON has always upheld the corporate philosophy of contributing to the happiness of people living ordinary daily lives. To Realize AEON's Mission: (1) Evolution in Both Vertical and Horizontal Dimensions: AEON’s key strategy involves dual growth. The first is vertical supply chain reforms to ensure and maintain both the high quality and reasonable prices that AEON guarantees, through strengthening supply chains and developing proprietary brands like TOPVALU and HÓME CÓORDY to embody AEON’s value proposition. Secondly, horizontal store expansion aims to deliver exceptional products and shopping experiences across Vietnam through multi-format retail strategy tailored to diverse markets, expanding coverage from major cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh to regional areas. This dual approach of vertical and horizontal development is a core part of AEON’s strategic vision. (2) Building the "AEON Ecosystem" Through Group Synergy: Beyond retail, AEON aims to enrich Vietnamese lifestyles by integrating shopping malls, financial services, and entertainment. Leveraging the collective strength of the AEON Group, we aim to create a comprehensive “AEON Living Sphere” that enhances daily life. (3) Enriching Local Communities: Local community contribution is one of our corporate basic principles. We identify Sustainable Development as one of the keys focuses on our long-term strategy, based on three pillars: Economy - Society - Environment. AEON Vietnam aims to accompanies with the government in realizing Vietnam's Sustainable Development Goals in the role of a Retailer.
