TREE PLANTING FESTIVAL “AEON HOMETOWN FORESTS” AT AEON MALL HA DONG – HA NOI

As a part of series traditional activities before the opening ceremony, the tree planting festival titled "AEON Hometown Forests" with the theme "GO GREEN with us" was organized by AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd., in cooperation with AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. on November 2, 2019 at AEON Mall Ha Dong.

The event attracted more than 1,000 people with the participation of representatives of the Hanoi city, Embassy of Japan, Ha Dong district, partners, customers, students, AEON staff and many people in Ha Dong district.

With the mission of "The more local living space is taken away, the more green space will be compensated for that community" as well as to maintain and continue the journey of planting 1 million trees to adorn the capital of Hanoi. Tree Planting Festival "AEON Hometown Forests" has planted a total of 5,000 trees including 33 different types around the shopping mall and perfectly suited to the natural conditions of the area.

"AEON Hometown Forests" not only contributes to environmental protection in the present but also brings positive meanings and values for the future in the face of increasing urbanization and environmental pollution.

Considered as a meaningful activity contributing to bringing practical values and benefits to the locality, the activity "AEON hometown forests" at AEON Mall - Ha Dong shows AEON's efforts in enhancing awareness for young people in particular and communities in the region in general about the role and values of a green living environment that needs to be protected and improved, thereby gradually forming positive habits and having a sense of contribution to environmental protection activities.

With tree planting activities at General Merchandise Store AEON Mall - Ha Dong, AEON Vietnam also wishes to connect and call on local people to join hands in building a healthy living environment for today and tomorrow, step by step in harmony with modern green living trend, from there, we will continue to write the journey "Keeping your identity, weaving your future" of AEON Vietnam in Ha Dong district, Hanoi city.
