On August 24th, the AEON Tân Phú Celadon hosted the closing of the AEON Ekiden & AEON Cosplay Festival 2024, marking the end of a series of unforgettable moments.

First organized in 2022, AEON Ekiden has become an annual event of AEON Vietnam, aimed at promoting a spirit of sportsmanship and strengthening family bonds. Additionally, the AEON Cosplay Festival, held on the same day, offered a comprehensive entertainment experience and created a vibrant playground for the cosplay community in Vietnam.
Despite the early start, athletes and families alike brought a "warrior" spirit to AEON Ekiden, fully prepared to conquer the race.
The cosplay community presented impeccably polished performances at the AEON Cosplay Festival.
The first leg of AEON Ekiden 2024 took place at AEON Long Biên, Hanoi, on July 25th, attracting nearly 1,000 athletes who successfully completed the race. The Tasuki sash, symbolizing the strong connection between generations within families and team members, was passed from one runner to the next and carried throughout the entire course.
The Tasuki sash also symbolizes the connection between Vietnam and Japan.
The AEON Cosplay Festival, held on the same day, offered a complete entertainment experience.
On July 28th, at AEON Bình Dương Canary, AEON Ekiden attracted 162 participating teams, with a total of 1,000 kilometers completed. In addition to the race, the event featured a Vietnam-Japan cultural booth offering activities suitable for all ages, such as traditional clay figurine making, statue painting, crafting lucky charms, and designing teru teru bōzu (sunshine dolls).
At the final station—AEON Tân Phú Celadon, held on August 24, 2024—AEON Ekiden 2024 saw a total of 3,000 participants, with 3,000 kilometers completed, equivalent to the distance from AEON Long Biên (Hanoi) to AEON Tân Phú (Ho Chi Minh City). AEON Cosplay Festival 2024 recorded a total of about 200 cosplayers registering to compete. Amidst an atmosphere full of energy, AEON Ekiden & AEON Cosplay Festival successfully concluded their series of events at the final station, receiving strong support from the local community.
