In recent days, AEON Vietnam has actively ensured that essential supplies and stable living conditions are provided for the community. They have closely collaborated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to distribute tens of thousands of essential products and goods.

AEON Vietnam donated tens of thousands of essential products to residents affected by the Yagi typhoon
The northern provinces have been severely damaged by floods as a result of heavy rains, greatly affecting the lives of local residents. In collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, AEON Vietnam promptly supported the local community to help people overcome these difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.
Starting on September 12, AEON Vietnam swiftly donated tens of thousands of essential products to meet the urgent needs of residents in isolated areas. AEON Vietnam representative announced that 5,000 gift packages, totaling 1 billion VND, have been and are being delivered to the authorities of the severely affected northern provinces. On September 12 and 13, AEON Vietnam employees, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, successively donated essential supplies to representatives of the local authorities in Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai provinces. In the coming days, AEON Vietnam's convoy, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will continue to deliver aid to Lang Son, Cao Bang, and other affected provinces.

AEON People prepare goods for delivery to affected provinces
The gift packages include necessary essentials such as canned foods (meat, fish), ready-to-eat sausages, biscuits, sweet/salty bread, shredded pork, energy bars, and bottled water. These are all essential items to help people overcome the difficult period and gradually stabilize their lives after the disaster.
Ensuring a stable supply of goods, supporting people through hardship
In preparation for and after Typhoon No. 3, AEON Vietnam increased the inventory of goods at its stores by 2-3 times compared to normal days. Additionally, at distribution centers (transit warehouses), AEON Vietnam increased storage capacity to promptly meet demand when needed.
Essential goods such as vegetables were also ensured a stable supply and price at all AEON Vietnam business locations in the northern region. Over the past days, AEON Vietnam has worked closely with suppliers in Da Lat to transport vegetables to the north daily, using all necessary means from road to air. The company also expanded its search for new suppliers in Dak Nong and Gia Lai provinces to ensure a diverse supply of goods and prevent shortages.

Despite the complex weather conditions, AEON Vietnam has maintained normal operations at its General Merchandise Stores and Supermarkets in the North to ensure that people can shop for essential products with peace of mind.
